Positive Behaviour
All children have the right to feel safe and secure in our care. Our expectations and sanctions are appropriate to the age and development of each child. Staff act as role models and display considerate attitudes to encourage acceptable social behaviour.
Kind, considerate behaviour is always praised and those who have recognised behavioural difficulties will be given extra support to help them manage their own behaviour.
Positive encouragement is used wherever possible. Unacceptable behaviour will be responded to in an appropriate way. Staff members use a range of behavioural management techniques to find the best suited to each individual child.
Bullying is unacceptable behaviour and wie treat all instances seriously.
